These are some of the backing tracks I use with my guitar students.
They are designed to be as simple as possible: just a 4/4 backbeat and a single bass note.
There's a drum fill every eight bars and an open hi-hat every four bars.

Here's some ways I use them:
- To practice playing rhythm
- To practice chord progressions with a bass pedal, using inversions
- To practice technical exercises with a rhythm section instead of a metronome
- To create modal chord progressions
